The Cottage

Haddocks’ Rest is a lovely stone self-catering holiday cottage set right in the heart of St Davids. With two bedrooms, a spacious living area and a well equipped kitchen area, it offers comfortable holiday accommodation for up to four people.

The cottage itself has a lovely stone exterior and has been  renovated throughout to make it warm, comfortable and convenient.
However, it retains its original character and features The result is a welcoming and interesting holiday cottage which will ensure you have a great time in Pembrokeshire, whatever time of year it is.

At the rear of the holiday cottage there is an unexpectedly secluded garden with a patio area.  With the garden furniture and BBQ this a great place to spend the warm summer evenings.

The central location of Haddocks’ Rest makes it a great base to explore St Davids and the surrounding area. With the famous Cathedral, independent shops and cafes just a short walk away and the breathtaking Pembrokeshire coast just a mile away, you are ideally placed to enjoy all St Davids has to offer.

Just wanted to say what a relaxing time we had in St Davids. The cottage was perfect for our needs and so good to have nice restaurants and a surprisingly so well-stocked supermarket a few minutes walk away. And so lucky with the weather. Thanks also for the wine – much appreciated.

Hi Clive and Jill,

We had a lovely stay in Haddocks Rest over New Year thank you.
We have stayed in the property before so know the cottage and area.
The cottage was lovely and clean with everything that we needed. Bathroom and kitchen spotless and well equipped. We were able to park outside which was great. Good to have the folder for the area with ideas for places to eat etc. Great to have the cathedral times over New Year. It was so kind to leave a card and bottle of bubbly as it was New Year, much appreciated.

Wifi connection no problem. The cottage was the right price for the time of year and its location. A lovely home from home.

We went to Melin Tregwynt Mill to look around and it has a fab new cafe – Cawl with a crusty roll and cheese lovely. Also The Shed in Porthgain great beer battered fish and chips, more expensive than your usual fish and chips but fantastic and a great setting. Lovely walks, great beaches and friendly atmosphere in the city.

We wrote in the visitor book about our positive experience. Altogether a really lovely cottage, fab location, great communication from yourselves, easy payment and booking etc. Keep up the good work.

All the best for the New Year,

Liz
